Stay in a historic Umgebindehaus in Bertsdorf-Hörnitz, the village awarded "Most Beautiful Village in Saxony" in 2003. On our spacious property, you can relax on cozy benches, the patio, or sun loungers and enjoy the peace and nature, or end your evening with a barbecue. Hiking and walking trails start right at the house—head to the sandy beach of Lake Olbersdorf, up Breiteberg, or to the Koitsche mountain inn. Bertsdorf-Hörnitz has its own station on the Zittau narrow-gauge steam railway, which takes you into the Zittau Mountains.
Many attractions are nearby, including the Trixi pool in Großschönau, Hainewalde Castle, the spa towns of Oybin and Jonsdorf with groomed cross-country ski trails in winter, and Waltersdorf at the foot of Lausche Mountain. Poland and the Czech Republic with their ski resorts are also great excursion options. In nearby Zittau, you’ll find plenty of shopping and a historic town center to explore.
Each apartment accommodates up to three guests (third person on a sofa bed in the living room), features a separate bedroom, and offers ample storage space in the bathroom. Towels, bed linen, and hairdryer are included.
