It is in an excellent location: set back in a quiet complex but just a few steps to the bustling Rosenthaler Vorstadt. There are excellent bus, tram and U-Bahn links nearby. Plenty of cafes, bars and shops as well. The apartment flows very well and is designed to a high standard. There are all the amenities for your stay. Comfortable beds, complete kitchen and lovely bathroom. U-bahn is close by and coffee and breakfast around the corner. We were able to use the parking garage under the building for a fee. Nice and spacious. We will definitely come back to Berlin and then this is our place to be. This place has the best location one could ask for. Pretty much walking distances to everything, with transit less than a 5 min walk. Also within a 5 minute walk are numerous restaurants, bakeries, and coffee shops, all good. Our host, Andreas , waited up to 1am to greet us, as our plane was delayed. He made himself available throughout our 4 day stay, and answered any questions we had, including restaurant recommendations. Location is great, just 2 minute walk to U-bahn and tram stops. Neighborhood is lively, full of shops, bars, restaurants, yet the apartment is on a side street, residential buildings that is as quiet as you can ask for. There are pharmacies, supermarkets within walking distance. Did not spend much time in the apartment itself, but is simple, well furnished, bathroom was clean, kitchen is fully furnished, and the full service (auto grinder/brewer) coffee machine was much appreciated. The only thing I can suggest to improve is to perhaps install a handle on the shower wall when you get in the tub. I am used to lower height bathtubs, and as I had a foot injury a couple years back, I find it somewhat harder than necessary to get in and out of the bathtub. Die Kulturbrauerei und der Alexanderplatz sind fußläufig in 10-15 Minuten erreichbar. In unmittelbarer Umgebung gibt es viele Restaurants und Cafés. Das Apartment ist sehr gut ausgestattet und bietet auch für Selbstverpfleger alle Möglichkeiten.Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter ist sehr gut.
