"was disappointed with my stay at this hotel. There was major construction going on during my visit, and no one informed me about it before booking or at check-in. The noise and disruption made it difficult to relax and enjoy the stay. Another issue was the lack of a safe in the room, which was inconvenient and made me uncomfortable leaving valuables behind. For the price paid, I expected better communication and basic amenities. Unfortunately, the experience did not meet expectations."

"Hotel was excellent!! We had an early flight and we were allowed to check in early and get rest. The concierge host was great and very understanding of how tired we were. I just wish I would’ve got her name. Beds fluffy and comfy, shower water pressure was great and our rooms were very clean. I 100% recommend."

"Lovely Inn just west of downtown located near so many bars and restaurants. Rooms were fantastic and my bed was so comfortable. I stayed in one of the downstairs carriage house rooms and it was comfortable, with a great bathroom, and beautiful furnishings. Enjoyed my stay and will stay again on my next trip to Houston. Staff is outstanding and the main house is gorgeous. Enjoyed the Bar Madonna and enjoyed the included breakfast. Highly recommend."

"We love staying at this Zaza for Houston museums, zoo, and Hermann park visits. Price is elevated, but the quality of stay is top notch. Very spacious room at standard rate. Turndown service with a Moon Pie or chocolate, and a bottle of water. Over the span of a couple of days, we had an excellent breakfast and excellent dinner at Monarch. This weekend coincided with a prom being held in the big ballroom. The staff runs things so well that, as a guest, this was not a disruption at all to us."

I personally loved the design of the property and interior design of the rooms, overall it was very artful and bespoke. The room was clean and the restaurant was inviting. Staff in the lobby, housekeeping, and restaurant were all super friendly. Great and memorable stay."
