  • The best hike if you like waterfalls, to be precise there are 22 of them. To see them all you will have to hike for about 7 miles. Dog friendly. I highly recommend you won't regret it! The hike is not very difficult, with accessional hikes up and down, but it is long considering that you will stop to admire and take pictures at most of the waterfalls. Bring lunch, snack and water if you planning to see all 22 waterfalls.

Ricketts Glen weekend

Perfect place to stay if you're visiting the falls at Ricketts Glen. Comfortable rooms with a cabin like atmosphere . Excellent breakfast and a short drive to the falls trail.

Quiet Solitude

Quiet Retreat in PA Mountains

The Elk Hollow Lodge is a hospitable retreat and the morning coffee and breakfast are second to none. Karen is the best host you could ever ask for and there realyis no better place to relax and recharge in a quiet little off the beaten path retreat. Love it.

Charming and rustic

We had a great stay! My partner, our Greyhound, and I stayed two nights. We hiked nearby at Ricketts Glen State Park, about a 15 minute drive. The B and B had a small continental breakfast with coffee, cinnamon rolls, fruit, and cereal that is included in the cost of the room. You can also order from the restaurant menu, and put it in the tab to be paid before leaving. Karen was very welcoming and answered all of our questions. The room had all we needed for a cozy stay. There is not a fridge in the room, so a cooler was helpful. There was ice for sale on the front porch. The atmosphere was quiet and serene. We’d love to come back! the

Remote and Rustic

Love the distance to Ricketts Glen obviously and how remote it was. Our room was nice and big and even had soaps and things in neat packaging in the bathroom, which would’ve been great to use if we hadn’t been in a rush to get out the door due a flat tire in the morning. A downside was that we weren’t the only ones staying in our room-definitely signs of mice, eek! And honestly, we live in an old home, it happens, I get it, but there was a lot of mouse poopies everywhere, which is extra gross when you have a two year old who likes to explore everything. It was a holiday night we stayed and off season, so maybe rooms aren’t checked as much, but, considering check in wasn’t till 3 maybe a once over with a quick vacuum would take care of the signs of mice. Again, nice stay, breakfast as promised, easy check in, smelled fresh, easy to get to even though it was secluded, just a little grossed out by the amount of mouse scat.

Everything was pretty much as described, though the included breakfast in continental and a full breakfast can be purchased at the restaurant affordably.It's about a 10 minutes drive to Ricket's Glen.
