This was a great property. We loved the proximity to the beach. And we had all the amenities we needed—fully stocked kitchen, charcoal grill, a/c, and a lovely outdoor seating area including a fire pit.

Overall, nice rental. A stones throw from the beach which is even better. Downside was it’s outdated as heck with brochures, tv’s, and aesthetic. Gets the job done if you won’t be inside much.

Relaxing

This little cabin was very clean & cozy. It was close to 2 state park trails that we enjoyed since we are hikers. A little cool & windy but we still enjoyed the beach. And also close to the downtown area. We enjoyed dinner at Clementines & breakfast at Six Chicks.

Excellent!

Just a few minutes walk to the beach and less than a mile walk to great restaurants! Quiet even though South Haven and restaurants were very busy. The cottage was spotless and exactly what we needed - loved the deck for morning coffee and evenings. Thank you to housekeeping staff as well for finding my favorite sweater!

Great location and a charming though small cottage that was clean... BUT, I failed to read all of the pre-check-in documents and overlooked that we need to bring our own BATHROOM TOWELS. By the time I got the owner's "important last minute stuff" email, I was already away from home so we ended having to buy towels - bummer. We know to bring our own coffee, but there were no filters for the coffee maker - bummer - another trip to Meijer. Only frying pan was a tiny one - bummer since we'd brought stuff to make pancakes and french toast.

Place is small as it says but it’s perfect for two and the location is amazing, sits close to all the shops, beaches, great walks, and the park.location is across from the lake with beach entrances steps away .the host is super personable and offers their chairs that face the lake with a little peekaboo sunset and an amazing sky to enjoy after the sunset. Only thing we would add is switch the lace curtain for a black out curtain in the bedroom! Shower has great pressure bed is firm so depends on what you like. We definitely hope to continue to visit this or other rentals they have!

We stayed two nights and thoroughly enjoyed our visit to South Haven! We swam in the lake, rode the Kal-Haven trail and hiked around town and along the lake shore. The sunsets were spectacular! Thank you for a quiet place to stay!

Cozy cottage minutes from the beach!

Really enjoyed our stay. The town and beach were beautiful and everything was in walking distance. I live in the city so being able to see the stars at night so intimately was an experience I'll never forget! House was clean just a lot of spiders to look out for. Overall I would stay here again. Thank you
