Stopping to take in the view on the Armidale-Kempsey Road. This one is of my parents who taught me from a young age thats its about the journey and not the destination. They took us on some amazing camping trips when we were kids. These experiences are what I most remember about my childhood. We are now passing that on to our kids and I know the travel bug will keep alive and well in our family. These two crackers are still getting all over Australia (kids free these days) although we did get on this epic road trip to the Bass Lodge with them a few years ago. "Absolutely loved our stay at the Aurora Summit, the location was idyllic and the property was beautifully kept. We enjoyed a bottle of wine and a cheeseboard on the picnic mat provided in front of the fire and listened to the beautiful soundscape. Joel was a fantastic and communicative host with excellent instructions on how to access the property. We enjoyed our stay very much! Thankyou for the memories. "

"We stayed at the property for 4 nights. It was marvellous. The hosts were welcoming and friendly without being suffocating. The property was cool, self-contained and fenced; perfect forour dog.We had a few visits from Eddie the dog, who liked to keep an eye on things and made friends with our dog.Rosellas in the trees, chickens running around, cow in the fields - it was the perfect xmas getaway fir us. Thank you!"
