"It's a really cute cottage, but for that price we were expecting way more. The plates weren't clean, too few spoons, no cozy seating area on the terrace, small chairs at the bar, no lighter for the gas heater, the mosquito net was not everywhere closed, so we had on one day a huge amount of animals in the cottage. The area around a little messy and not welcoming. No basic stuff like salt, pepper and oil available (that should be a must have!). The poor dog of the owner was whimpering especially...

"This island is AMAZING! Everything from the gorgeous water, snorkeling, kayaking, well appointed cabanas, friendly staff, to the phenomenal food! My husband and I really enjoyed our relaxing vacation. We love that it wasn’t a party atmosphere but a laid back and enjoyable one. We had the island to ourselves most of the time with day trippers only staying for part of the day. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a unique getaway suitable for lovebirds or families!"

"The cabana was cute but not for staying more than 3-4 days, especially with the small amount of linens and towels provided. The first day it was easy to get into contact with the host but afterwards they would say they would help but never showed up or just stopped responding. "

"My wife and I stayed in one of the cottages while viewing potential real estate deals. All communications were excellent leading up to and during the visit. Because we were visiting as Hurricane Beryl was forming the staff gave us there local view on what was coming so we could make decisions as we were moving on next to Ambergris Caye. "The cabin was just as described. Well cared for by the care-takers Antonio and Dena. There were a lot of birds, and we saw Red-Lored Amazons among many others. Being near the river, and in a fairly dense forested area, there were mosquitoes and no-seeums. The large screened porch was a great place to enjoy the wildlife. A good BBQ was provided, the cabin was very large, and the a/c worked very well. All in all, a great stay. Recommend."
