The manager on standby was rude and biased and didn't want to believe at first when I told her the list of the things the monkeys ate and that we didnt open that window. "Truly an excellent choice. Having stayed at over 14 different locations around South Africa this last month this was refreshing. The chalets was comfortable and had everything we needed. We were gutted to stay just one night as we did not want to leave. We were urged to stay at the ATKV but decided to try this. True, the pool and hot (ish?) pool is small but the zebra’s, giraffes and other animals wandering through the chalets made up for any of it. It was also quiet and relaxing. So if you want fun, higher energy stay i would go across the road to Klein Kariba but if you want truly relaxing and enjoying a quiet fire, animals etc then this is it."
