Staying at Mutianyu GreatWall Wangshanyuan Homestay was a great expetience. Overall, the welcoming family and the delicious food prepared for us every day made us feel special, and not just like customers. The room had a view of the mountains and the beds were very comfortable. We were even given a little present on our leavind day !

At this property the staff will give you a lift to the Great Wall and organise your tickets. The food here is at a home stay and cooking by there staff is at a good level. I would recommend this property well worth the cost . Well done.

Wonderful relaxing stay! Friendly welcoming helpful owners took very good care of me. They picked me up from PEK, provided dinner and breakfast, bought cable car and toboggan tickets for me, and took me to tea and jade shops on the way back to PEK. The room was nice and the house is very close to the base of the cable car and chairlift, so they dropped me off and I did not have to ride the bus from the welcome area. It was nice to spend a couple hours on The Wall first thing in the morning before the crowds arrived.

The room was perfect. This homestay was adorable - the family was so kind and helpful with everything I needed, the dinner and breakfast were delicious!!! I even got lost the first day at another hotel and they came to pick me up there- top notch service! And it’s so close to the Great Wall entry !!

We were warmly welcomed upon arrival. Place was cute, comfortable and food was excellent. Within walking distance to the wall and a couple other businesses. Transportation was arranged easily with the host. Would highly recommend staying here.

We could not have hoped for more. The property was well kept and fascinating. We were catered to. The food was both fresh and excellent. Our trip to the Great Wall was managed well. More than anything, our hosts were just the nicest people of the world. I can't say enough good things about them.

Good home stay . Lady of the house made us breakfast fried rice and eggs and dinner dumplings and tofu with rice included( vegetarian). Airport pick up service available with price 600 from capital airport . 5 minutes drive to Mutianyu wall included . He bought tickets for us on his phone for tobogone , 2 separate cable car options . Around 10 am lot of tourists come flooding in to Mutianyu wall so staying close by for early visit was helpful. He was able to drive us to Jinsangling for day trip with charge , very thankful and convenient .

This is a family owned hotel. They literally take care of everything. Laundry, Taxi, Beverages and the food they provide in house for every breakfast and dinner is made fresh in their kitchen and it’s amazing. I absolutely loved staying here! Ask to go on the rooftop deck for a mountain village view.

Our stay at Mutianyu Great Wall Wangshanyuan Homestay was one of the highlights of our trip. The family who runs the homestay is incredibly friendly and welcoming — they truly treat you like family. The food was fantastic, especially the homemade dumplings and snacks, which were some of the best we had in China. They were also very helpful in planning our trip, offering great itinerary recommendations to make sure we made the most of our visit. They even arranged transportation to the Forbidden City and our airport transfer at a very reasonable price, and the car was very comfortable. The location is amazing — right next to the Mutianyu Great Wall. Our room even had Great Wall stones built into the walls, which made the experience feel even more unique and memorable. Highly recommend staying here if you want a warm, authentic experience near the Great Wall.

I enjoyed my stay and recommend staying there. I decided to stay after taking the bus from Beijing to see the Great Wall on a tour. The next day - I could explore the wall and the small town on my own. The accommodation was nice and the family that runs the hotel/homestay was really friendly. I am a vegetarian and enjoyed generous portions of good food while I was there. I also organized a taxi back to Beijing after my two night stay with the owner. His father drove me to the train station in a really nice electric car - so 'taxi' doesn't really describe the high quality of the car and very pleasant drive. I recommend staying here.

This homestay was so amazing!! The host messaged me right after booking and assisted us in transportation to/from the airport, as well as tickets and transportation to the Great Wall for an extremely reasonable price. The couple was so sweet, made us feel extremely welcome in their beautiful home, and even cooked us a delicious dinner and breakfast. We only stayed one night, but wished we stayed longer. I would highly recommend this place for anyone wanting to visit the Great Wall!!

Our room had a mountain view that even included a small segment of the wall. After walking the wall we were greeted with dinner at the hotel, and prior to our departure the next day, we were served breakfast. Couldnt have asked for a better experience, thanks.
