The best area to stay in Beigondo is the historic town centre, particularly around Praza Maior. This area is the heart of Beigondo, known for its well-preserved architecture, including the impressive Town Hall and the Church of San Salvador. It's a compact and walkable district, with narrow, cobbled streets leading to various shops, tapas bars, and restaurants. The Praza Maior itself is a lovely spot to sit and enjoy the local atmosphere.Couples will find this area particularly appealing for a romantic getaway. The evening strolls through the historic streets, the opportunity to dine in intimate restaurants, and the proximity to cultural sites like the Beigondo Museum make it an ideal base. Many boutique hotels here offer charming rooms with views of the historic buildings. For families, staying slightly outside the immediate Praza Maior, but still within a 10-minute walk, offers a good balance. Areas just off Rúa Maior, for instance, often feature hotels with more spacious family rooms or even serviced apartments, providing a bit more space and quiet while still being extremely convenient for accessing all the town centre's attractions.
