We had 2 families stay together and had an absolutely marvelous time and wish we could’ve stayed longer! Clean large beautiful home, tons of beds, fun activities in the house and many hiking trails nearby, friendly and responsive host, and the local businesses had welcoming staff and great food. Would definitely recommend!
Overall we had a good stay-- easy and pretty half hour drive to Tanglewood; nice bedrooms and living area to gather. It happened to be an extremely hot weekend, so we did wish for air conditioning, but I imagine most other weeks, it would be very comfortable without it.
The house had great indoor and outdoor spaces that were very clean and organized making it very easy to settle in and relax. We loved spending the day on the back porch and spreading out in the living room in the evenings. All of the amenities were clean, easily accessible, and in well working order. Our group is already talking about rebooking for next year!
Must-stay if you’re looking for a remote getaway to get back to nature! My group of adult friends came in October to enjoy the leaves and fall weather and this spot didn’t disappoint! The house is gorgeous and huge, plenty of space for the 7 of us to spread out. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen had enough cooking tools for us to make a few tasty meals. The location is great as well - in between a few quaint towns so we could drive around to hiking and sightseeing while admiring the landscape. We did run into a few minor maintenance issues (a couple lights out and we couldn’t seem to get the fireplace working) but nothing that stopped our enjoyment. Would come back again!
Richar was a fantastic host, very responsive and very accommodating. My friends and I were looking for a nice weekend away, and this property exceeded all expectations.
Great cottage in the woods for a big family or group of friends. All the amenities you can ask for plus the basement games that aren't in the picture (ping pong table, etc) were a nice surprise.
The host was very responsive and helpful with information.
Would recommend.
We travel to the Berkshires every year and have outgrown our family lake house. This property is spacious and clean. My only suggestion would be to add some window AC units it was incredibly hot when we entered and took forever to cool down. Other than that we will book again next year.
Nice big remote house on well landscaped grounds with plenty of fun features: a hot tub, a huge deck, fire pit, a game room with ping pong, pool table and refrigerator, a sunroom with air hockey. Could use a little maintenance in the kitchen as various plastic pieces of the fridge and dishwasher were broken.
