Quaint Studio Loft in the Heart of Downtown Beaufort

  • This unique building is known for its interesting history as the headquarters of James Mcteer "The Vodoo Sherriff" and lies in the heart of the historic commercial district of Beaufort, Located steps from Bay St. known for its shops, boutiques, art galleries and charming restaurants. The loft is above Sweetgrass Pantry and Provision where you can buy fresh bakery items as well as craft beer, wine, snacks, etc. The exterior stairs lead you to a welcome retreat that makes ‘Oyster Bed’s’ individuality shine. You are also located one block from the scenic Waterfront Park, and a short walk to historic Old Point neighborhood to see the beautiful antebellum homes. The beach at Hunting Island State Park is about a 15-minute drive away.
    Oyster Bed is a fully furnished apartment which includes a bedroom with queen bed, bathroom with shower, and a kitchenette. The kitchenette has a refrigerator/freezer, coffee-maker, microwave, silverware/dinnerware, and basic kitchen goods. There is also a separate living room with a queen sized pull out leather sofa bed with an additional half bathroom making the sleeping capacity 4 people.
