It was very clean. When I arrived I checked for dust but there was none to be found! We were a bit concerned about the neighborhood as we arrived, but found it to be very quiet indeed. Even tho we are Civil War buffs , we learned so much about the Reconstruction Era that we didn’t know. We brought our recumbent bikes and really enjoyed riding them in the neighborhood and downtown. My husband even took his ‘fat wheel’ bike onto the beach and found the foundations of the cabins our family stayed in 40 plus years ago. They were swept away by a tropical storm in 2007\. Charming city, cozy cottage with awesome outdoor seating areas and everything we needed. The kitchen and other areas are fully equipped for even the biggest family meal. This house was perfect. The neighborhood is a bit iffy...yes but keep driving it gets much better . It's very quiet except for the roosters lol. We met a few neighbors they were nice the house was SPOTLESS. The beds were comfy and the location was perfect. Easy to Pariss Island and everywhere else. The coffee pot worked great and the fridge had ice and water all instructions were easy . We had a question was answered immediately. It was a terrific place to stay . Beafort is an amazing place.
