There were so many amenities (pickleball! tennis! the pool!) at our fingertips and we were a short bike ride/walk/drive to the beach. The condo came stocked with 4 beach chairs and 4 bikes, which was such a nice touch to schlep fewer along with us on the drive down. The four (really nice) bathrooms made it so comfortable and easy for all of us to get ready for dinners out and the spacious kitchen made it easy to cook in, too! We will be returning every year! Our visit in early May was before the summer crowds, so the vibe in Shipyard was very mellow, even quiet.This unit is spacious and features newly renovated bathrooms. It has nice views of the lagoon and feels quite secluded. In fact, it really is a separate house, unconnected to other units. Some of the furnishings are new, and some are older which gives the feel of a family residence rather than a rental property. It is very close to the tennis (pickleball) courts and the pool, so you do not have to commute by car. The beach is also within riding distance via bike, if you don’t want to pack up a car and deal with finding a parking spot. Lots of great food in the surrounding area. Plenty of room for a medium sized family or group to sleep comfortably.
