Smart systems in place including Smart door locks, Honeywell Smart thermostat, WiFi, and Simplisafe security system, Please note that the front porch does NOT have railings and is approx. 30" from the ground, the family room floor has a slight slope to it as it was once a back porch, bathtubs/showers do not have grab bars. There are 3 SimpliSafe exterior cameras, two Ring doorbells (Simplisafe & Ring record motion and sound), no cameras inside the house. 10-minute walk to Historic Downtown Beaufort and the Bay, Waterfront Park, The Point with antebellum mansions, museums, cemeteries, churches, art galleries, ice cream shops, restaurants, bars, antique stores, clothing shops, home decor stores, and beautiful Beaufort River views. 15 minute drive to Parris Island for MCRD graduations, 25 minute drive to Hunting Island (parking pass included) for beaches, historic lighthouse, visitor center, walks & nature. 5 minute walk to the Spanish Moss Trail for walking, biking and running, 10 minute drive to Cypress Wetlands for wildlife including gators, turtles and birds, 10 minute drive to Shell Beach for shark tooth hunting, 15 minute drive to Penn Center for Gulluh and African American History, one and a half hour drive to Charleston, one hour drive to Savannah and Hilton Head, 45 minute drive to Bluffton. Just a few blocks from the main road to the base. This house is immaculately clean and the kitchen has everything you need to cook a Thanksgiving meal. The pass to the state park saved us a bunch and the beach was beautiful! The beach chairs were awesome to take to the base for visiting day and to the beach. The house is decorated so nicely, was very clean, and we had all that we needed for a week long stay. The neighborhood is quiet and there’s not much traffic on this side street. The backyard is pretty private. Over the course of a week, we never saw or heard any neighbors other than one day we saw the neighbor readying his boat. We loved our stay in Beaufort. A carriage ride in the residential area was fun and we learned a lot about local history. We explored Port Royal, Hilton Head, Hunting Island, and spent a day in Charleston. Our son graduated from the Marine corps and it was a very comfortable place to unwind from the ceremonies. The layout is cozy and allows enough space for everyone to relax and still be present. Kelsey was great with communication and the home was well appointed with everything you would need for a relaxing time away from home. ##### Garrett R. This place was outstanding. It was just as advertised and met all my expectations. We had everything that we needed and had more than enough room for everyone. I would rent this place again when in Beaufort SC. The owner was nice and was easy to communicate with. My family had a great weekend and enjoyed our stay. ##### minnie w. The house was very clean. Beds were super comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet and very safe. Close to shopping and restaurants. Only 15 minutes to Parris Island. Take advantage of the pass to Hunting beach. It is beautiful and worth the 30 minute drive. If we are ever back in the Beaufort area we would stay here again! ##### Beth W.
