"We’ve stayed in this community multiple times and unfortunately had a different experience this time.The property itself was clean and we appreciated that. However, several things made this stay not great. We booked because the property was pet-friendly, and we indicated during booking that we were traveling with dogs. Then asked, if we had dogs upon arrival. It was clearly stated so initially- an extra fee was then required- host stated that they’ve had this issue before. The privacy issue was our biggest concern. There were two cameras at the front door and eave of home- within 5 ft apart additional cameras on every corner of the house, and it felt we were being watched. We were also contacted first thing in the morning about a couple beach towel hanging over the front porch railing, supposedly reported by the HOA. We felt it was noticed through cameras. The property is called waterfront beach community and we saw many other homes in the neighborhood with towels on their porches along with beach items. We mentioned the bedroom TVs weren’t working simply so the host would know for future guests as we didn’t need to have it. We were then sent troubleshooting instructions and asked to report back on whether they worked. We were on vacation & not interested in troubleshooting equipment. There were also dishes left in the dishwasher, no extra garbage bags, algae buildup on the community pool tiles, and rotted/missing boards on the guest beach walkway."

"The property looked brand new and the rooms were huge - so much space everywhere. There are 4 bedrooms in the front building and 1 in the rear building which also has a huge game room with a ping pong table. Everything is in excellent condition. The resort pool is also large with both shade and sun areas with lounge chairs. There’s a fire pit in the backyard, too. We are thinking about staying at this property again next year."

"We were looking for an "end of summer" trip for the kids that wasn't Disney or Sea World-esque because we've done all of that. ...but I was concerned looking at this location on a map. It seemed in the middle of nowhere, and coming up from Tampa to stay at a beach house further up north of the state with no waves was concerning. BUT! We drove here in our Jeep and got to venture out and do water tubing down a lazy river, swim in spring fed waters, drove the Jeep with no roof and doors through the state park (that part was kind of a bust really because it's just flat dirt roads). But the pool was awesome. My 18 and 20 year old kids loved the "nature" parts of this trip. Now, about the place because that's what you really care about. The build of this house felt like every other new constuction has been put to shame. The materials they used to build this place are extremely high quality. Then on top of that the place was well stocked with everything. The beds were so comfortable and the linens so clean and lush you don't even want to get out of bed if not for the aroma of coffee brewing in the kitchen. From the wood floors to the decor, this place was amazing. Large garages we could use, Kayaks, Gas AND charcoal grills plus a firepit. We are now considering buying our own house in this neighborhood from this builder. It was just that good. Would highly recommend... bring a jeep, take off the top and doors. Thank me later."

"The place was perfect! The beach was a 3 minute walk and literally NO ONE was there. The beach is very short but still room in the soft sand to setup a tent/canopy. We could walk about 50 yards and still be knee deep during high tide. The house and surrounding area was so quite and peaceful, we'd sit on the front porch and just listen to nature. With ZERO light pollution you could see the Milky Way at night.My recommendation to travelers is to stop in Panacea or Carrabelle and stock up on food and snacks. No one delivers and restaurants are about 20 minutes away so come prepared. We had an absolute blast and will definitely be back."

"We loved it! If you are looking for a quiet vacation where you can unplug and relax, this is the place to do that. It is a quiet, natural area with lots of wildlife and a beautiful setting. There are many great places to explore in the area. The hosts were very responsive to any questions we had. The house had many amenities that suited all of our needs. We would definitely stay here again if we travel to this part of Florida! Thanks for sharing your home."
