"The cottage was clean, well furnished and had a well equipped kitchen. It was better in real life than the photos looked, which was a nice surprise as the photos made it look good anyway. There was plenty of parking as well as a nice garden. The internet worked well and wasn't a problem getting it set up. All in all we were not disappointed! It's also a great spot to get out and exptthe Northumberland countryside."

"The property is being renovated, nearly finished downstairs and very nice. The staff are very good, friendly and helpful. Wi fi is good. Dinner and breakfast is fine and served without a long wait.We would stay again, as it is central and has a nice beer garden, which would be very nice in hot weather. Thank you Dusty and Allan."

"Good little cottage for surrounding area. Situated on a very busy, noisy road. A few niggles like no soap left in any of the bathrooms and kitchen, which is something I’ve never known in a holiday rental. As someone has mentioned, the adjoining door to the owners house is a bit discomforting and a little weird!!It’s very near to Alnwick, which has lots of little shops and cafes. Barter books is definitely worth a look, a one off!!"
