The Vurpillat Beachfront Hotel

"The property was super unique and vintage. Unfortunately they were in the middle of remodeling some of the rooms so there was a lot of furniture in the halls. There were almost no outlets in the room we were in, and you could tell they are working on electrical stuff. Overall super charming and an absolutely beautiful location. Definitely a unique stay."

"Pros - Great location (20 min walk to hermosa pier) surrounded by shops, bars and restaurants. Huge rooms and super clean. Hot tub! Friendly and helpful staff. Cons - No pool. The breakfast was meh. The bacon was very greasy and thin and the eggs seemed like liquid eggs. I would definitely return!"

"Great location near the Redondo Pier, they were flexible with check in time which was really appreciated. The bed and pillows weren’t super comfortable so I’d suggest they invest in that to improve customer experience. Other than that we enjoyed our stay!"
The Wave Manhattan Beach

"Front desk guy was very friendly. Parking was only $10 its an underground lot. Room was clean but there were no towels in the room. I talked to another guest and they also had no towels upon arrival. I went to the desk and had no issues getting towels maybe thats just the way they roll. 20 min from airport Definitely would stay here again"

"Great location is really what this place is all about. Great staff as well. They have all the beach amenities you need for free. Downside of the place is that it’s very old, no screens on windows, if you have a unit above you then you can hear every step anyone takes."
