"Amazing"

"This hotel was super nice! I was not expecting so much history that had happened there but it’s a very iconic hotel. We love how beautiful and grand the hotel was right away in the lobby. The pool was fun and indoor. Very old school you feel like you’re somewhere in Europe. I took my 7 and 9 year old and they really enjoyed that. The pool was warm and for it being indoor it wasn’t as bad as I expected it to be with the humidity. One thing I wish it did have was more food options for the kids at the hotel. No restaurant was really open late for us to eat as a family. We ended up walking about 10 minutes to a chick fil a and a Taco Bell near by. We also stayed here because its location to the Lakers basketball stadium. My husband watched a game there while the kids and I swam. He was able to walk to and from. It was about a 15 minute walk which was nice because he was able to grab food on the way as well. The rooms were a little smaller than expected. Not much wiggle room but it did its job. I would say if you’re going to have 4 people get the queen beds not the double beds. One thing that really bothered me was the cost of parking. $70 a night just seemed ridiculous, I wish they didn’t charge hotel guest that much mostly when they had plenty of events that night that they were charging all those non guest to park. They could have done actual guest a favor and not charged that much. The valet staff was very nice as well as the bell hop staff. Overall we did like it."

"The location of the hotel is perfect for Hollywood Boulevard. There is a wonderful Japanese restaurant about eight minute taxi ride in the hills. Great view wonderful service. The on and off bus and other excursions are right around the corner from the hotel. Jimmy Kimmel is also located around the corner and you can maybe sneak some tickets."

"good things first.. it's near everything.. food , glendale city center, staff are nice, virtual check in i found out, is efficient. irtual staff ... very helpful.. now the negatives.. there are people smoking weed right in front of the hotel door by the parking lot and they look real shady, there was a woman who checked in .. she carried her bike in the lobby and she has big plastic bag full of empty cans and plastic containers.. the carpet looks dirty, let's just say it is a 1 or 2 star hotel? and the room smell heavy like a just disinfected hospital room where the smell cannot be masked. the reviews i read that this is a hotel for families, well if you don't mind these things then this ihotel is for you. to each his own but if you are queazy .. find another hotel. if you are not too sensitive about cleanliness, about shady looking characters go for it."

"Upon arrival at LAX, we went to the shuttle pickup area and waited for almost an hour and the shuttle was packed! The info said the shuttle came every 30 min. By the time we got to the hotel, the only food option was the lobby restaurant. Spent almost $100 on three burgers and fries. Pretty spendy. Breakfast was good but ended at 9 am and we thought it was at least 9:30 or 10. It put us in a bit of a rush. "
