Ideal for families with kids because of the large units and the pool. Units are well equipped. Superficial cleanliness is great but don't look under beds. Property is a half hour walk from the city center. Buses are also available, albeit not easy to use

Good spacious apartments for longer stays
This hotel is a good choice when you want to have a bit more space and prepare your own meals some of the time. It is quiet and there is a bus stop with a half hourly service right outside. There are a supermarket and a bakery and butcher a short walk away. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are bright with big windows. The staff are all super friendly and helpful. The kitchen has most essentials and even a small dishwasher, although the cupboards seem to be for very tall people. I am of average height and could not reach the plates on the top shelf without standing on a chair. Overall a very good place to stay.

Excellent hotel, but in non-convenient local.
Hotel is very good, room is spacious and with small kitchen. Very convenient if you would like to have breakfast in the room and cook small dishes. Only neg, point: Road in front of hotel was in maintenance, re-asphalting, therefore the bus stop (which is one and half blocks away normally) was closed and I had to walk to nearest one, 4 blocks-14 mins distance. Public transports works well but other only option: taxis are bit expensive.

This is an amazing property overall. Great in service. The rooms fixings (including heat bathroom during winter and kitchenette) are more than I expected. Only one thing, needs more comfortable beds. Recommend getting fixed (non rollable) large beds with comfortable mattresses.

Away from town centre but comfortable
The apartment was spacious and clean and comfortable. Security carparking in the hotel’s own garage was assuring. The hotel was located on the periphery of the town centre and you need to drive into the centre to see the main attractions and pay for parking there. There are two supermarkets within walking distance but they close early, especially on Saturday. The hotel knew we were a party of three but only provided towels etc for two. We asked reception for another set but nothing came. We told the Manager when we checked out and he waived our carparking fee.

Was in town for 3 operas. Good taxi service to the opera house. Had to walk back 3k but only a problem on one night as it was raining. Enjoyed the walk other nights. Good location for other museums. 25min walk into town. Good size room.

Great value for the money! Apartment had a small kitchen so you didn’t have to have every meal out. There were washers and dryers in basement as well as irons. The game changer for us—-the hotel had air conditioning!

Just ok very expensive parking.
Just ok, needed an overnight from a long drive so satisfactory but bed is very hard and no breakfast available. Parking fee is exorbitant- half the price of the room. Crazy!!

Nice but better if you have a car.
The hotel is about 30 minutes walk or 10 euros by taxi from the Rlwy station. Nice room but only a bar in the hotel. There’s a coffee shop down the road, not far, for breakfast. Really more suitable for cars, but I was happy there.

Much nicer than I expected! The room had all the amenities I wanted; the bed was comfortable, the staff were very helpful and friendly. It was my home away from home during the Bayreuth Festival. A 2 minute walk to Lidl, DM and a bakery. And getting to the theatre was easy, with taxis booked for you. I'll be back!

A hidden gem for those attending the Festspiele in Bayreuth. Easy walking to Haus Wahnfreid and the Lizt museum as well.

The room's ambiance was somewhat stark and plain. It was very spacious, and overall generous. Great that they have A/C.. Also good that they have a good coffeeshop across the street.

Being able to cook for ourselves was wonderful. The staff were truly excellent, friendly, charming and helpful. Loved the instant-on tap in the toilet-only room, such a great idea. Lovely and quiet. Great idea to give a discount to guests who did not have the room done every day. Would have liked a chopping board in the kitchen! Astonished by the dishwasher under the oven (tho' did not use it!). Directions for using cook top would be good for those who have not grown up in the digital age (it worked perfectly). AC worked much better after the filter was changed. Found it easy to take to bus to downtown and then a second one to the Festspielhaus and a taxi home. Pairing guests for taxis to the opera was excellent. Made friends that way. Would definitely stay here again. Lucky to have the Lidl so close too!

We were in Bayreuth for a week to attend the annual Opera Festival. Our stay was part of a 22 day trip to Germany. The facility was clean, well managed and had a laundry room in the basement with coin operated machines. We could take the elevator down and wash our clothes easily. The staff was also quite familiar with the idiosyncrasies of the opera festival and were able to provide gjudance to us with respect to food, transportation and other logistical challenges of the festival. We pre-arranged our taxi through the front desk, and it arrived a few minutes early each night. We were also able to have the front desk dispatch a cab to the Opera house for us at the end of each performance. The staff was multilingual and very helpful. The property is new and modern, and had air conditioning. There is a coffee shop, a deli and a grocery store 1/2 block down the street that can be easily utilized.

Efficient and friendly service, clean rooms, comfortable beds. Guests need a car to go to downtown Bayreuth.

Modern and spacious
The location is good, even if you don't have a vehicle. City bus stop is very close by. Butcher, baker, grocery and drug store across the street. Breakfast is available in the bakery-cafe and other meals at the butcher in the same location. Very inexpensive. Beds were comfortable and there was room to move around them. Phone to landlines in Germany are free. Personnel was very friendly and helpful.

Worth a return visit.
Stayed with family for a wedding. Roof terrace excellent for meeting up. Room facilities and local eateries/shop good. Pleasant walks nearby and into town centre.
