(1,002 reviews) The room was spacious & clean, although in my opion it will need some upgrading in the not too distant future. The sea view rooms should be re-classified as partial sea view, due to the amount of trees blocking it. There is 1 particularly large tree that overhangs the pool, possible attention to the branches, before they crack in a storm & hurt someone. There is serious erosion outside the grounds of this hotel, making it almost impossible to walk along the beach here, plus the sea is extremely polluted. The pool is a good size & clean, but there are not enough loungers, plus the cushions could do with a good scrub, pool towels were available. Outside & along the street there are numerous places to eat & at night it is lined with a market, food is very cheap, alcohol not so, however, you can easily get a meal for 2 with a drink for well under £15, we don't eat much & were paying approximately £9 including beer. The staff were lovely & helpful nothing too much trouble. A bus stop is just next door for a trip to Georgetown costing about 6+ myr but they don't give change.
