Basic- no the normal hilton experience !

Decided to spend the extra money and go.for a supoeror room, we were greated as we existed the lift by refirbishment work being carried out to otger rooms. On arriving at our room (232) we found the following ; -No tv remote -No working phone -A leak under the bathing sink -Fridge no working -Lights not working fully -A small mirror in the bath room that gave you an electric shock when touched to adjust, we felt with was very dangerous and actually caused a burn on my arm. I did report the problems but was told they were maintenance issues and nothing could be done because they had left for the day. Offered complimentary breakfast but did not feel this was enough. All in all not what i expect from an almost £200 a night hotel room. Very basic

Hotel had been newly refurbished, it felt very clean and modern!! Lovely room with a nice bathroom. We had a great view of the River. The corridors and reception felt very clean too this made me and my partner feel comfortable ( COVID-19). Great location, Waitrose and other shops nearby as well as lots of bars and restaurants. Would come here again :)
