"The staff was very helpful but we were very disappointed about the overall condition of the hotel and rooms which were very tired and in the process of being renovated. The restaurant was closed as a consequence. We paid quite a lot for the room much more than was advertised locally and had no knowledge of the disruption. Nothing on Expedia. Will think twice about using Expedia again. Don't like being taken for a ride."

"Literally booked a room here as I was riding my motorbike South. Booked at 21:00hrs as I was wet and cold and it was cheap. No other reason apart from location and cost but what a pleasant surprise. Many local producers offer tours and tastings, and the harvest season in autumn provides a unique insight into the winemaking process.
