"Beautiful home base for all Acadia adventures. Excellent property to stay with families traveling together. Tina is a great host who is attentive, kind and thoughtful. Appreciated the practical extra items available like night lights. Beautiful deck for sunsets, kitchen window with the hummingbird feeder is a big hit! Walking distance from the lighthouse."

"We had a good four-night stay here while visiting Acadia. The house was spacious and comfortable for our group, everything worked as expected, and we especially enjoyed the large yard and fire pit. The location was convenient as well, with some local attractions within walking distance and easy access to Acadia and the surrounding area.One thing families may want to be aware of is that this is an older wooden house and it is quite creaky and sound carries easily—floors, stairs, and even opening and closing doors can be surprisingly loud. We were traveling with several children, so there was naturally some additional noise as they played. The house also shares a wall with another rental. This is mentioned in the listing, although we hadn't fully appreciated the arrangement when booking.Our only disappointment came after checkout, when we were notified that two sets of twin-bed sheets had stains the cleaners could not remove and that another fitted sheet was missing. The host ultimately disregarded the missing sheet and reduced the original 124 replacement charge for the stained sheet sets to about 90. We understand being responsible for damaged items, although we felt that was a fairly steep replacement cost for two ordinary twin-bed sheet sets.Overall, though, the house served us well and was a spacious and convenient base for our Acadia trip."

"This was a wonderful, spacious place for our extended family vacation. The property has all the essentials plus a number of luxury touches, including upgraded appliances. The host was very communicative and helpful throughout. A minor quibble: people kept tripping over the carpet edge in the main house as it was not flush with the floor. It probably needs to be taped down. Other than that, it was great and we would certainly stay at this property again."

"We had a wonderful 3 weeks at Fiona’s cottage. It was bright, clean and super comfortable. The kitchen was supplied sufficiently to allow for several meals cooked in. The location was minutes to our favorite spots including Sw Harbor, Seawall and Little Long pond. Would definitely stay there again."
