From the moment we checked in the whole stay was second to none, normally this is a one or perhaps two night stay but we had about a week there. The staff were so helpful and very courteous on all levels, the room was clean and lovely bath towels provided. We used the hotel as a base to visit the Bombay Sapphire gin factory which was very close by. It was an emotional visit for me as i last saw the hotel as my boarding school in 1968 I also fount my initials carved on a wall I remember this even after 48 years The hotel was fantastic we enjoyed our stay for one night and had a lovely breakfast. A little off the beaten track but this hotel is of exceptional quality and it a bargain for the price we paid. VERY quiet and comfortable. Superb breakfast too. We'll definitely return!

Fantastic new hotel with great facilities but no tea/ coffee or even a glass in the room so not great if you are thirsty!

The owner has only been there a short time so some rooms are still to be upgraded. However, mine was excellent with everything I needed. Staff are exceptionally helpful and the food is amazing with a large, varied gluten free menu and nothing too much trouble. Parking is easy. Highly recommended

The room is very tidy and clean. I find the room seems newly renovated. It was a cold night and I have the heater on and the room warm up very fast. The room was quiet at night even it’s a Saturday night. Quite a different narrative to the receptionist warn me while check in. Probably my room is at far end and facing other side.

Clean room and good value for money. Slightly under staffed in my opinion but the staff available where great. Very close to Hook Train station which is what I needed as this was a business trip to be close to Basingstoke. Had a great nights sleep.

A very comfortable pleasant hotel, we went for the tennis courts, the staff and facilities were very good, a room fridge would have been nice, and a later breakfast finish on weekdays would have meant we didn't go hungry on Monday morning.

Whilst the property is dated it is clean, very comfy, has aircon, fan, extra bedding etc. Everything you need. The shower whilst looking too high was perfect when in the bath using it and was very powerful which was great. I cannot fault it or the whole staff, very polite and fast checkin clean, nice comfy room and the services are a pleasure to walk around and sit in or outside off. I would stay again and again. Unforutunately I didnt arrive at the hotel in time to sample the spa or the restaurant, which was a bummer. I arrived at 21:15 the exact time admission ended. Was able to eat at in The Lounge though and food was hot but small proportions for cost. However over all i had a good nights sleep and the staff where very welcoming and helpful.

The staff are very friendly and helpful, the sky bar is lovely and makes excellent cocktails. The breakfast is very good with a great choice of food
