If you want to be in the midst of this family-friendly location, then this sophisticated penthouse apartment is for you. The outdoor activities are unlimited. They include biking, golfing, fishing, skiing, horseback riding, hiking, snowmobiling and so much more. Whole Foods Grocery Store and Starbucks are steps away and City Market and the movie theater just around the corner. Snowmass and Aspen as well as Glenwood Hot Springs are all 20 minutes or less away. You are staying in a designer and builder's dream project, so expect to have the finest appointments not typically found in rental properties! From the $80,000 Italian made Pedini kitchen equipped with subzero, gas range and excellent cookware and dishes to the finest Italian bedding - you will not find a more luxurious, exciting and convenient place to reside during your vacation. We have collected artwork for the loft from renown artists from Eastern Europe, Barcelona, New York and Tibet among others. The style is clean and modern with Ligne Roset furniture from Paris in the living room. The master bed was hand forged and all mattresses in the loft were selected for ultimate comfort. Down comforters, linen, fine cotton duvets and super down pillows are provided to settle in at night. Top of the line large screen TVs are in both the living room and master bedroom. Twelve-foot ceilings and banks of windows add to the modern vibe of the space. The second bedroom is an intimate space that can sleep 4 in two full-over-full beds. There is also an additional single bed pallet that can be used in this room. The rug was handmade in Buenos Aires and is of soft chevron cowhide. Everything is pristine as it was all acquired with our recent remodel. The spring, summer and fall activities seem to happen more down-valley in terms of horseback riding, golf, fishing and hiking, and you are right in the center of it all! The main bus station is 1 blocks from our unit that you can take anywhere with buses leaving every 20 minutes. If you rent a car you do not have to worry about snow as you have a designated underground parking spot. On days we ski Aspen mountain, we typically valet at The Little Nell, and have a Apres ski cocktail and have our ticket validated, which makes it quite reasonable to park at the very base of the mountain. It is a terrific place to people watch and relax before heading back to our little sanctuary. You are steps from the bus stop, the best wine store in the valley, as well as two of the top-rated restaurants on the first floor! Jump on the bikes and head to the river or stroll to the 8 screen movie theater or the darling bowling alley that serves rack of lamb! We have done what we feel makes a space both exciting and comfortable to enjoy the best of the best in Colorado. You will be thrilled with the money you will save having the anchors such as Whole Foods so close as opposed to the heart of the tourist areas. As foodies, we love to try every new restaurant and found the choices much more interesting in the Basalt area at basically half the price and it is incredible to have the option of either! Skiing could not be easier - hop on the bus on the corner of our block and be driven or pack your car in the garage and head up the mountain. The kitchen is adequate if you eat out most meals but is not for those who like to cook. The master bedroom needs black-out shades and the air conditioning struggles in the master bedroom. Four of us stayed here for a quick ski at Snowmass. The condo is perfectly situated about 20 minutes away from the resort. Walking proximity to Starbucks, Whole Foods, and great restaurants is certainly a plus. The condo unit itself was impeccably, decorated and comfortable. An elevator in the building and a heated parking garage were also greatly appreciated. Hope to return next year to this same place! ##### James R. We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the unit and the furnishings. Shopping and restaurants were within easy walking distance. Though we originally preferred to stay closer to Aspen we got used to the commute to the ski areas and did go up to Aspen for shopping and dinner a few times. So easy to get to Snowmass, Highlands and Aspen but being in a much less crowded area. My husband goes fly fishing so this is the perfect location for him! We walked to Whole Foods and Mezzaluna for dinner one evening along with our usual favorite places we always go to. Amy's loft was spotless and had everything we needed. Very modern and stylish. The location was superb - walking distance to excellent restaurants and shops (and Whole Foods for groceries). The shuttle to world class skiing and dining at Aspen-Snowmass was very close and convenient as well! This place/ location exceeded our expectations and we are definitely going to rent from her again next winter! Amy was super friendly and extremely easy to work with. She answered any questions diligently and gave excellent recommendations on where to eat/ visit in the Roaring Fork Valley! The loft was very nice and very stylish. We had our family of five and still had plenty of room for all of us. The loft isn't really that large but it is very well planned out and very comfortable. It was very convenient with a stackable washer/dryer in the unit. The kitchen had everything we needed and then some. The bathrooms were very stylish and nice. The water pressure in the showers was amazing and the towels were very thick and plush. It felt like we were staying in a very high end hotel suite. The loft had a nice view overlooking the town center and a view of the mountains. However, the best view was going up to the rooftop deck and seeing the 360 degree view from this cute little area of the valley, it was very gorgeous. The rooftop had a couple of grills and an outdoor fire pit. The location was perfect, it was in this very stylish town center. There are a few restaurants in the town center (with a few of them in the building) & also a frozen yogurt place right down the street. The Whole Foods was only a block away and they had anything that you would need. Since my wife needs her espresso every morning to function, the Starbucks couldn't have been in a more perfect spot. So every morning I would use my mobile phone app to place our order. I would then walk out our building and one block to the south and voila our order was ready and sitting on the counter, no waiting. There are a number of other little shops in the town center but we didn't check them out. The building was very quiet at all times of the day. It was nice that there was underground parking in the building. The elevator took us from the parking garage (basement level) directly up to the second floor. The location of the loft really was perfect. It was an easy 18 minute drive into Aspen and about the same into Glenwood Springs. But it still had all of the services one would need if you decided to stay in for the day. Lastly the owner couldn't have made our stay any better. Literally five minutes after I had booked this stay, she called me to answer my questions. The morning of our check-in, I texted here with another question and she texted back almost immediately. She has thought of everything that would make the loft perfect for your vacation stay. Thank you Amy, we will be back :) ##### Randy M.
