We stayed 1 night in a Family room (2x adults & 2x teenages) and my parents in a separate room, it was excellent. Comfy beds and pillows, it was clean and spacious perfect for our stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The fact that parking was included in the price (as we had 2 cars) was the reason for choosing the Brassey. I would happily stay here again and recommend to others.

Best hotel we've stayed in in Australia. Lovely 1920s building, helpful staff, attractive bar, good location for many sites and on a number of bus routes (Canberra is not a very pedestrian-friendly city). Only quibble would be that, as one of the, possibly the, leading hotel(s) in the Commonwealth capital, a wider selection of Australian wines, and notably some from the smaller wine regions (for example, Beechworth, VIC) could be available.

Had a two night stay here with my husband to explore Canberra . We did have a hired car to get around . The property was clean, everything we needed was there , could easily stay for longer as the apartment had everything you could possibly need. Staff were very friendly and helpful . The pool was pleasant but certainly only there to cool down and have a swim not for laying around. We would definitely recommend this accommodation to family and friends .

There was some noise at night from the street as the hotel is so central and close to restaurants and bars

Love this hotel. It's the 2nd time I've stayed here. Due to friends living not far from it. Staff are very friendly and the city walk witj all the shops, restaurants etc is a 2 min walk away. Carpark is under the hotel which is great.
