"The staff were great, and the lounge area was really good. Parking was excellent. The room was clean and had a great shower, but the bed was incredibly hard, very thin, and extremely hard mattress with a thin topper, the pillows were very poor quality, and the TV channels were hard to navigate."

"Terrible check in experience. The hotel said they didn’t have my hotel.com booking (I had booked around 4 hours earlier). Receptionist was very unfriendly and extremely unhelpful. The lady at reception didn’t offer any advice other than to buy a new room and left me sat in reception for an hour whilst I tried to contact hotels.com on the phone, she didn’t offer me even the glint of a smile, a glass of water, an apology, nothing, instead she treated me like I was trying to steal a free nights stay even though I had a confirmation email with all details on. Terrible customer service experience. I booked this hotel specifically because it had a gym which I didn’t get to use as it had closed by the time I got to my room. A smile and a “don’t worry we’ll help sort it” would have gone a very long way. Lacking some very basic customer service skills. "

"Very disappointed with Shower very poor hot water pressure and to top it, hot water was barely tepid nobody wants to come from a days work to a cold shower and start the next day when shower was still cold. I also don’t see why they charge for car parking. I won’t be back. "

The food was excellent, with a great selection and top-quality dishes that were clearly prepared with care. Every meal was thoroughly enjoyable and well presented. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained, providing the perfect place to relax after a long day. It’s clear the team take pride in keeping everything to a high standard. Overall, a brilliant stay with a warm, friendly atmosphere.
