I was unlucky and got bad weather so the pier wasn’t accessible and there were no chairs on the beach. Other than that, everything was great. The only downside was that the front desk was hard to reach even during opening hours." No complaints at all. One of the most comfortable rooms I have ever stayed in. The roof top pool was mint! We stayed at the grove too which is there newer area so the rooftop pool was huge! The gym was one of the best gyms I have ever been to! We went everyday! State of the art equipment and even classes. There was a 24hr supermarket on site, the morning coffee and brunch at island naturals was key! And at night they have 3 restaurants that were all awesome! The beach is right across the street, 3 min walk and each unit has an umbrella , cooler and beach chairs you can bring with you. I have zero complaints , this place was a steal for the price we paid. It is small enough that all the staff know you and the culture is to go out of their way to be courteous and helpful. The front desk staff helped us select dinner places, snorkeling places and even provided a beach blanket and snorkel gear. The restaurant has some of the best quality and value on the island- we felt like we were in someone’s kitchen. The yoga instructor was excellent. The room was large and immaculate- the housekeeper arranged our toiletries and coordinated with the front desk when we were eating so they never interrupted our schedule. Our only gripe is the beach isn’t very swimmable because it’s quite rocky and the waves are big- but it is a beautiful walk and you can see the kite surfers. The rooster does start making noise in the morning but we were able to get back to sleep and accept that roosters are a part of the Grand Cayman experience. We loved our stay at VIDA! The view from the minute you walk through the front door is spectacular. We had everything you need for spending a week there with 8 adults. The outdoor space was amazing with the pool and screened in porch. Large bedrooms each with a bathroom fit our family great. Our three generations were between 89-24 and each one of them had a wonderful time. If we needed anything Tex was a text away and responded immediately. Chelsea the owner also was very responsive from the moment I booked was great at answering all my questions. Lifetime memories were made here it was such a wonderful trip.
