When we arrived check in was so easy and the staff were friendly and helpful and showed us to our room while my car was taken away to the garage. Perfectly placed at the end of the seafront, the Astoria is small and very welcoming. Rapallo town centre is a short walk away as is the railway station. On arrival we were welcomed by Alessandro and Sara who were the perfect hosts. Nothing was too much trouble and we had a fantastic week. The room, though not huge, was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The breakfast buffet was varied and ample for us. Highly recommended.

We found the hotel right in the middle of the town. surrounded by bars and restaurants and a lovely walk through shaded, busy, ally's in the old town. Close to the beach and the ferry to Portofino. Portofino is too busy and full of tourists. The rooftop bar was a revelation. Watch the moon rise over the bay sipping a cocktail. Spot on. No swimming pool, if you are that inclined. Parking is across the street. Had a lovely stay and will return.
