"The location was amazing. Secluded with beautiful views...exactly what we wanted. There was a lovely supermarket just a couple of miles away. The property was in reasonable distance from local attractions. Peil Castle and the train to lake Windemere were firm favourites with the kids, as was the beach...right outside the gate! The cottage was clean and had all the facilities required.We look forward to visiting again. "
"Nice old pub in town . The food was excellent. All I ate was great. The two fellows,Calum and omg forgot the assistant or night managers name . Made my stay. I liked my bed facing the street Less noise . I would come back for sure. The , waiter from USA , only 9 from home had a British accent "
"Exceptionally clean apartment. Well stocked, very modern and comfortable. We were in a ground floor apartment, our only slight disappointment was the poor natural light in the lounge area but did not detract from stay. Well located for central Ulverston and pay and display car park across the road."

"Great location for exploring all the Lake District. Internet access was the only challenge but the cottage was clean and well cared for with a well stocked kitchen for cooking. Off the street so very quiet and the hostess sent out a comprehensive list of places to go and things to see. We would definitely stay there again if available."
