Great location and amenities. Only thing I think could be a problem are the lockers inside the rooms. Too small and the sliding door could get jammed and you don’t have much access to your things. Just a note to have but other than that really cool spot.

Was always only one person at the desk ever. This made it difficult if you had any issues or enquiries. All the staff I spoke with were however very friendly and easy to talk to. I thank them for the kindness being so busy. The rooms were good, good air conditioning and location for the quiet beach is perfect. The city is a nice walk away, along the beach or through the roads. So you can choose each time what suits your mood. Laundry, luggage storage available also. My only suggestion is to get more fridges as there was only 1 for a massive hostel. There are however loads of places nearby to get food so wasn’t too big of an issue.

2/10 Terrible

Disliked: Staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilities
Terrible experience – Safety breach, broken promises & zero privacy Overall: Avoid this place, especially with family. Friendly staff was nonexistent and standards were missed. Stayed mid-July, now mid-October and still unresolved—waiting over a month for an email reply. Only positive: close to beach and metro. Safety, Privacy & Keys: Booked a 4-bed room. Mid second night, a stranger opened our door and walked in. My 9yo daughter was terrified. Reception dismissed us until morning, though they apologized and gave 4 new keys that night. They blamed the guest who was handed our working key by staff. Next day, keys failed again. Staff regularly barged in without knocking—once simply because I hung beach towels inside the window frame to dry (no other hanging space in room). Broken Agreement: Manager promised a partial refund. We chased them constantly. Departure day email confirmed: "As compensation, we are currently arranging a partial refund for the final two nights of your stay." Yet they only refunded one night via Expedia, then claimed to Expedia they only agreed to one. Ghosted us when confronted with their own email. Room & Facilities: Poor shower pressure, dark bathroom/sinks with almost no lighting. Dining area smelled strange with chipped plates and damaged knives. Conclusion: Zero accountability, safety risks, constant key failures, broken promises. Avoid—especially with kids.

We stayed at this hotel as a family of four and overall it was a good choice for a short sightseeing trip. The location is very good, with easy access to the main attractions. The reception staff were helpful and friendly, which we really appreciated. However, the room was missing some basic furniture, such as a chair and a small table, which would have made the stay more comfortable, especially for a family. Despite this, the hotel is a good option for a family of four looking for a convenient place to stay while exploring the city.

Great hostel in great location

Great hostel in a great location near the beach and easily accessible to public transportation to get you wherever you may need to go. The main areas for improvement would be the bathroom design in shared dorms, and adding curtains to bunks in the shared dorm. Overall it exceeded expectations of a hostel.
