We normally stay more central but due to high prices for the two nights ended up in the Travelodge in Poblenou.
Good points only a couple of blocks from Llacuna metro station, nice places to eat on Rambla del Poblenou, hotel is clean and modern, breakfast is good but you have to go up several times as they keep running out of things, impossible to get everything at once. Rooms are modern with a desk and TV, mattress is not the most comfortable and only a socket at one side of the bed but it was quiet even with the construction going on outside. Bathroom was clean and fresh but shower head is fixed to the wall which is not the best when you are bigger, much prefer a shower on a hose. Free Wi-Fi, but only in the public areas, if you want it in your room - you have to pay!
