What a great moment!!! It was my daughter birthday and we had a fabulous time in the Barcelona Sky Melia. Check in faultless, hotel foyer spotless, staff professional and courteous and friendly. The room is great, comfortable, spacious, airy, and bright. The level experience is on floors 24 and 24, utilising both lounges. I couldn’t be more grateful to receive for personal attentive service and experience for me and family. Thank you so much for the kindness special for Javier and Paola… all staff members!!! Well done for the super time. Highly recommend

The área is very límited and far from everywhere. The floor of the rooms si unconfortable to walk barefoot. The wardrobe withiut doors is not conveniente. It is a very good and Nice hotel but it does not suit my likes.

Poor stay
Power cut on last two days Suffer from a disability which impacts legs and had to walk 26 floors as lifts were off then eventually they got two lifts working again. Had to go to spa to dry hair as the floors above 15 had no power all day . Offered a 50% refund of one night stay which was an utter joke Could not move room as hotel fully booked It ruined the last two days of holiday and the apology from hotel was poor

2 starts as best
This should be a 2 stars hotel at best. Terrible hygiene, lack of amenities, old used and harsh towels, stinking room, hallways and elevator, no english speaking staff, reception not answering the phone. And I am sure there are more, truing to forget the horrible experience.

Not as good as it was
Second stay at this hotel. Good location, great views. Hotel is becoming tired and corners are being cut. Door seals on shower didn’t work, phone in room didn’t work, fridge continually had puddle of water in, reception in The Level not staffed in the morning, standard/ choices for food for ‘aperitif hour’ was much reduced, taxi at end of stay hadn’t been booked as requested. . Nothing major, just a number of minor ones. The coffee was bad, which there is no excuse for at an alleged 5* hotel.

The hotel customer service was good, thou the rooms themselves were left wanting (an example of which was me finding the hanging wardrobe was quite literally in the toilet room (as in opposite) made worse by the fact the wardrobe had no door, we had to move rooms when we found the shower had no pressure or hot water. We were moved to another room where we had the same issue, there was also no drinking water in the room which I would expect from a 5 star hotel, especially during the hot summer months. The pool side drinks are a bit over priced averaging between 12-16 euros for a very sugary cocktail with not a great deal of alcohol in them, the food was underwhelming especial their BBQ burgers which was their most expensive item on the menu. It felt more like a 3 star in the bedrooms.

Fantastic
Wonderful property. I was at a conference at the convention centre and this was very convenient for that. Lovely staff, facilities, amenities and view! If I was staying in Barcelona again I would definitely consider this place. The pool was a little small, but still good for a dip. Great hot tub and steam room. Breakfast was great, as was the daily snack hour (if you stay on "The Level"). Fabulous.

Fabulous hotel
The hotel is absolutely amazing. The location is ideal for tram and metro only 5 mins walk. The views from the breakfast room is breathtaking.room views of the city is also great. We Were on the 14 floor and overlooked Sagrada Família. Service not always great but overall good hotel.

The hotel was beautiful and modern. I loved the bellboy Pol, he was so helpful and greeted us every night when we returned for the day. The downside was the lack of amenities. Coming from the states we are spoiled in such a way that we were expecting the simple things such as an ice bucket, garbage can in the actual bedroom and not just the bathroom, an iron and ironing board, and at least (2) each of washcloths, hand towels, and bath towels. I know It may seem like menial things but it’s a part of hospitality.

Pool area is very small, bar and lounge area don't stay open very late. Walls are super thin, you can hear absolutely everything! They do not restock your minibar as you use it. Room service was rude/bad, didn't even get what was ordered. Not very accommodating.

Fantastic staff on the Level reception, nothing was too much when you required their assistance. All food excellent especially breakfast and tapas hour on the Sky bar. Pool area and Spa great. Staff in Spa the best and the massage was again fantastic (aromatherapy one) and continues to be each time I have had one there. The Level room was ok but could do with a proper mirror for make up and dressing. If you want that weekend of treats with the beach and Pobleneu Rambla so close by this hotel will do it for you!

Perfect Getaway
Considering this was a mini break for us being newly-weds, the hotel and amenities were great. Lovely, friendly and welcoming staff. Very quick, easy and helpful check-in with equally as good of a check-out upon leaving the hotel. Upgrades offered on arrival which we chose one of and the room did not disappoint. Great views of the city, very clean and tidy room and additional extras for guests of 'The Level'. Foods and drinks on site are great with plenty of local amenities within a short walking distance should you need or want it. Highly recommend.

Staff were excellent and accommodating. The snacks including with the level were limited for instance one day was all fish which neither or my husband don’t eat.
