Hi, I'm sorry for the inconvenience, but the town hall was working in the street collector and it affected us for two days, I'm very sorry for that inconvenience, I'm going to treat the room in its absence with an ozone cannon to eliminate the smell, that only left in the morning when the town hall staff worked, thank God it was only two days, greetings

The staff were very helpful and spoke enough English for us to communicate well which was not expected but appreciated! The room was very clean and very comfortable. Checking in was easy and checking out was even easier. I didn’t try any of the complimentary tea or coffee but I did go get the discounted breakfast across the street. Again, very simple and the staff there were also kind and spoke a little English.

For a Histel catering to people from all over the world, I would expect that they should know and able to communicate in at least the universal language which is English. It was very hard to communicate with the staff on duty, luckily we had one person in our group who know Spanish.

Happy stay!
We enjoyed our stay very much. Not many places have 3 twin beds which is what we needed. The room was immaculate and the staff very friendly and helpful.

Worst place ever.
Worst place ever stayed. Shower so small can’t even turn around in it. Had a balcony which was filled with junk. No windows for light. Horrible place Only single beds. And they are like cots. Not beds. Supposed to have 24 service. Not true. If you left building had to buzz to get in as hostel is on second floor. At times buzzed for 10 mins before someone let us in. Also most important never felt it was fire safe no extra exit to get out in case of fire. No fire plan posted.

hello, the first thing is that we are in a mezzanine, not on a second floor, it would be forbidden, the second thing is that right in front of your room has the fire exit door, the hostel has three fire exits and we are adapted to the security measures that the law establishes, and believe me they are very rigorous, because of the patio if it is true that we were working and had tools and things of workers, and for the theme of the bed are 90x195 of cribs nothing what It happens that if the person is very fat and big clear you have a problem here and in any hotel, well up until the next one. Greetings.

Clean room in a good location

The staff here is really friendly, and worked very hard to answer all our questions even though they didn't speak English and didn't speak Spanish. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location was very safe - several locked doors! We enjoyed our stay here very much, and loved Barcelona.

Comfortable stay

Nice and cheap hostel in Barcelona
Really satisfied with this hostel! I booked a single room in this hostel with ensuite bathroom, and the room is spacious and clean. The bed is comfortable and the staff are friendly and helpful.

Good for the Money
The service was great and they were very friendly. There is a nice cafe right across the street and you get a 10% discount for staying at the hotel. Rooms were small, but clean. I was here only for one night.

Very short stay - staff were helpful and room nice
We only stayed here for a few hours to get our head down after getting off the train (we had a train at 6.05am) to Madrid. Was nice cleanly place to get your head down but could not give more of a review than this. Staff very helpful. Not sure what the local area was like but didn't look very busy.

Nice hotel in quiere side of the city
We had a chance to stay in this lovely hostal for a night. It's located in residencial area of the city, we spotted many supermarket on he way to the hotel. TThe room was very clean and well furnished at a very reasonable price, highly recommended!

The staff was hospitable, friendly, & accommodating. The large room was comfortable & well appointed with all necessities.

Difficult to access
Upon arrival had to drop off luggage as we needed to return our rental car to the airport, reception would not allow us to go into car park just to drop off luggage without charging us $20 euro, had to dodge cars in alley and go through 2 locked doors and manage luggage all by myself without my husband or any help. Room had a tonne of fly's as window is opened for housekeeping to clean room. We were quoted 25 euro to book a taxi to the airport and cab got to airport with $27 euro on meter and promptly charged us 40 euro.

All the staff are friendly and helpful. The place is very close to all your needs like grocery, train to city and airport , taxi and bus. It is also close to a known place Placa de Barcelona and Arena de Balcelona. It is value for your money and definitely I will stay there when we come back toBarcelona.

Inexpensive hotel
The people in the front counter was very kind. The location of this hotel is in the boundary between 2 cities: Barcelona and Hospitale(?). But it is in Zone 1 of Metro system. 10 min walking from nearest Metro. The worst thing is the condition of bathroom. Not enough air-ventilation. Weird smell inside the room. Recommend? No I will not book this hotel again.
