Pros: Everything mentioned above.
Cons: At a loss to find any need for improvement.
Location: Discussed above.
Outstanding location for walking in the Gothic area, close to the fascinating Barcelona Cathedral, the shops and restaraunts around the Picasso Museum (dont miss), Las Ramblas, and the Metro. This is the area I would choose to stay in if I return to Barcelona. We were always pleasantly greeted by the welcoming reception staff, who were always helpful and courteous. The room and bath were in excellent, sparkling clean condition. The beds were very comfortable, linens pristine. We appreciated the Nespresso coffee machine in the room. Upon checkin, the welcoming glass of Cava really set the tone for our stay in this lovely hotel. The rooftop bar provided a wonderful panoramic view of the city at night, and an added bonus was the live music and great bar staff. Based on our experience, I dream of having another opportunity to return to Barcelona and this hotel. I would also seek out other H10 hotels in other cities, based on our wonderful experience. Thanks for contributing to a magical vacation in Barcelona!

Generally good and in convenient location

Booked and paid six months in advance for two "Deluxe Double" rooms. Upon arrival was given one inside small double with no external window, and one twin room. Disappointing. Some maintenance and renewal required particularly in bathrooms. Staff were very good.

Great location, great staff

Posted 25-Jul-2016
Location: The hotel's location is ideal--right on Via Laetana, where the Gothic Quarter and El Born meet.
My wife and I stayed here for three nights in July, 2016. We picked the H10 Montcada mainly because of its location, but also because it appeared beautiful, and reviews almost unanimously referred to its friendly staff. Based on our own experience, we'd say that nothing was exaggerated. Hotel staff members were particularly kind, helpful, and friendly, from the people at the front desk to the people at the rooftop bar. Furthermore, having selected a "city view" room, we were not disappointed; the views from our room on the eighth floor were spectacular and were virtually identical to the images the hotel itself uses in its description.

Modern, hotel excellent location fantastic staff

Posted 16-Jul-2016
Pros: The staff where fantastic really helpful, helped us organise trips and spoke to one company on our behalf. They where helpful, friendly and welcoming.
Cons: You could slightly hear the underground but this didn't disturb us.
Location: Brilliant location near the gothic quarter and easy access to all sights and restaurants.
Really liked this hotel the staff went out of their way to make my Husbands 40th Birthday special they sent a bottle of chilled cava and cake to the room. They decorated the room with some items i'd taken whilst we where out sight seeing. Liked the room it was a good size with a nice view of the gothic quarter. The minibar was stocked with free drinks and some snacks. The breakfast was decent and had everything you would expect. The roof top terrace was fab just what you needed after a day sightseeing.

Beautiful hotel with a stunning view

Posted 14-Jul-2016
Pros: The staff made us feel very welcome. They were also quite helpful regarding restaurant and sightseeing questions.
Location: Would recommend doing one of the free walking tours of the Old City. Go to Barceloneta for great seafood. Take the hidden elevator in the Cathedral!
From checkin to checkout, the staff were amazing. The location in the Old City is fabulous. Walking distance to everything including the sea! We were celebrating my 60th birthday and they left a bottle of cava and cake for us our first night. We had a deluxe room on the 6th floor. Nice view no the room as lovely. One of the highlights is the rooftop bar. Panoramic views of the city. Manuel makes great drinks too! I would definitely stay here again.

Great location for city centre & beach.

Posted 09-Jul-2016
Pros: Lovely room - beautifully clean. Roof terrace bar was great!
Cons: It's next to the metro so if you are a light sleeper this may be a problem - personally it didn't disturb us at all!
Location: Worth a trip to the Fundacio Joan Miro - particularly while the Ignasi Aballí exhibition is on!
Lovely central hotel, really clean and very welcoming. Close to lots of restaurants. Opposite a metro - so ideal for getting around.

Très bon hôtel bien situé

Posted 25-Jun-2016
