Nice placees around the hotel.

Actually we book for double bed, not a separate double bed. Apart from this me and my wife is happy. It was very good experience in Barcelona.

Nice hotel in a good location.

Posted 04-May-2017
Cons: Hotel suited us perfectly.
Location: Close to local buses and Metro. Bars, restaurants and shops close by within walking distance.
In Barcelona for a few days to celebrate a birthday. Hotel was in a good location, not too far from airport or places of interest around the city. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Good choice at buffet breakfast. Room clean and quiet. We had a lovely stay and I would go back there again.

Excellent Location

Posted 09-Apr-2017
Easy walking to two Metro lines makes getting round the city easy. Also walking to Placa Espanya for bus 46 to and from the Airport. Hotel supplied great walking map with street names on! Staff very friendly and helpful. We didn't use the Restaurant so can't comment there. Many cafes nearby for coffee/ pastries with the locals and three supermarkets close for provisions - small fridge in the room. Only small criticism was that we had a great big pillar in the room and the window was over an internal courtyard - luckily we were on the top floor so had some natural day light, but maybe not so great on lower floors!

just okay

this hotel is a lot smaller than it looks in the pictures. Our room's AC barely worked. However, it is only 6-8 min drive from plaza catalunya and other important landmarks. I think it was just a bit too expensive for the space. Also, the housekeeprs do not speak a lick of english, so it is difficult to ask questions. front desk people were very nice, helped us look up train timings, etc and called cabs for us when needed. Hotel is surrounded by a supermarket, few places to grab a quick bite, etc. It also appears safe, well lit. Hotel seems to have a restraunt associated downstairs, hwoever it shuts down after a period, no room service and nothing available to eat after midnight. There is a vending machine with water, soda, junk etc. For my next visit to barcelona, i will try to explore other hotels, but i am not against staying here again.

The hotel is located in a really good area (with transportation options nearby). The rooms were clean, quiet, and modern, and the staff was quite helpful overall.

Pros: Your mattress was good.
Cons: Your A/C unit has to be kept at level 3 speed on the fan to keep room somewhat cool makes it very noisy. Price per night is too high.
Location: Location is not great. Not much great scenary and restaurants are scattered and not easy to find. Some areas around hotel look unpleasant/dirty.
For a one night stay, it was decent but your elevators are too small and doors close to fast to move luggage/baggage. Staff was ok. Although we did not use your breakfast buffett, after looking at it, it was not up to my standards and not worth $8.50 Euros.

Would stay again

Posted 10-Aug-2016
The hotel was nice, clean, comfortable, the staff were friendly and let us leave our bags for the day. Room was a decent size, shower was good, bed comfy, air con good, wifi fine. It's 2 minutes walk from Paralel. The breakfast was ok. I would recommend and stay again.

Comfortable good hotel - can't complain!

Posted 09-Aug-2016
Pros: All very good, slightly better privacy out of the windows, residents could see if our room.
Cons: Slippery shower tray
Location: Listed in main section of my review
Great hotel, we had room 502,although small and faced into the residential flats next door this wasn't a problem as the nets made it more private, in the evenings we shut the curtains. The room was positioned in the corner of the hotel away from noise as I requested, so nice and quiet. We stayed 3 night, rooms cleaned daily, supplied toothbrush/toothpaste, shower gel/shampoo and soap. It's around a 20 minute walk to La Ramblas but there are so many places down each turning, we kept stumbling over different ones each time we left the hotel and they are cheaper than the main strip of La Ramblas,9.5 Euros for a beer down the there, crazy prices!.We didn't have breakfast so I cant comment and they don't have tea/coffee making facilities but we knew this before we went so took a travel kettle, they do however have a fridge and sate which was very useful. PLEASE eat at Viana's and My Way.......AMAZING and really reasonably priced for where it was, superb food! I would recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again. We go the Aerobus, we have never done anything like this before, normally get a taxi but this worked out 10.20 Euros return each from the airport and so easy it was, you get the bus outside the airport and it drops you off and you walk about 4 blocks left and another 3/4 blocks and you are there (10 mins walk), getting the bus back is on the main big roundabout near the fountains, just ask reception, again about 10 mins walk. Enjoy your stay!

Business in Barcelona

A business trip. A nice hotel, recently refurbished. Staff are really friendly and accommodating. The hotel location is great, not a busy tourist area but still only a short walk through a nice area, to La Rambla.
