Beautiful, upscale hotel and in the center of Barcelona city. Very welcoming staff and excellent breakfast. Staff is very knowledgeable about the city and ready to guide guests to make the best of the stay. What didn't work well - The hotel reservation system did not integrate well with Expedia. This caused a reservation confusion for my family regarding whether breakfast is included for all the guests or not. I had to show a copy of my Expedia reservation that specifies that the breakfast is included for all my family and only after this the hotel honored the complete reservation. I suggest the hotel management reviews their system integration with Expedia to make sure that a guest reservation and stay is managed smoothly.

Great location once Las Ramblus construction is completed. As of May 25, they still have much work to do before Las Ramblas is back to its previously fascinating venues. Hotel rooms are small as our most European hotel rooms. I would consider staying there again.
