I read the reviews before booking and read about the noise and the cold showers etc, and yes it was a little noisy at times but nothing worth complaining about in my opinion. Decent location close to the metro station too. Barcelona is a great city. The view from the windows and balconies were great. The check in process was fast and the lady was amicable and helpful. The apartment location is very close to the metro stops which is great, but it is a bit far if you are looking to save money and walk to the tourist locations. The pizza place around the corner was amazing! Good 2 bed apartment with separate kitchen in a block of similar apartments. Check in was very friendly and efficient and a bonus was that I was able to check in earlier than the stated time as apartment was ready. Another great bonus here is luggage storage on checkout day so I could enjoy my final day on Barcelona without my case. Apartment was clean, convenient for the metro and comfortable. Lovely service from Erika on how to checkin and updates of the taxi strike. Apartment really spacious for city centre and everything is provided. Staff couldn't do enough for us - printed off tickets, gave 'best bets' for travel/safety. If you have children WiFi is really good. You can walk anywhere from here - loads of good restaurants locally - check out the Indian just off Saint Joan and in the area up the hill from Sagrada Familia. Gracia area is worth a walk around if you've had enough of the hustle and bustle of central Barcelona. Thank you - we had a great stay - a special mention to Karina who was so helpful. The communication from the hosts were fantastic before and during the stay. We did not have any issues at all and they let us expend our check out time right at the last minute. The apartment definitely has space for four, and is very clean. The location was good, it depends what you want to do.
