The suite was a nice size but very basic and lacking in a few areas. It had a lot of potential and could have been so much nicer decor wise. Staples in the kitchen are also suggested (cooking oil, salt and pepper, oven mitts, a pancake/egg flipper, dish and dishwasher detergent) Be aware you take out your own garbage and recycling to the street bins and pay extra for any housekeeping services, change of towels etc. The front desk staff and manager were very nice, friendly and helpful. We would suggest the owner stay a few days to realize the experience.

Very nice family stay at Amister Apartments. The location is absolutely fantastic - very central but still quiet. The apartment was comfortable and big enough for the 4 of us. We had a great time

Clean, comfortable, spacious and quiet. Very close to Plaza Catalunya. Our 2nd time here and again we were super satisfied and happy. Highly recommended when staying in Barcelona!

I took my wife and 3 teenage children for a long weekend in Barcelona and the Amister Apartment was the perfect base for us. It was bijou and perfectly situated. The area felt safe and had great amenities within easy walk. We could not have enjoyed our stay more.

Perfect downtown location for shopping. This is a central location in the heart of Barcelona. Apartment lobby is still under renovation but the apartment itself is in good condition. Overall very nice place to stay.

The flat is right in the middle of everything. We didn’t have to Uber or catch the bus anywhere we walked. I will definitely return if the occasion arises.

This is a super property extremely well located , clean and spacious I need to acknowledge the great assistance by Ariadna at check in. Our plans were changed by strikes in Paris cancelling the train , then flight delays . Adriana was super helpful to get us checked in with out delays after her Normal working hours The apartments is plain with few adornments , but light filled and spacious . Window shutters kept street noise to a low hum The Armister apartments are fully recommended

We stayed here from December 19 to December 26, 2021. Had we not pre-paid for the apartment in full, we would have certainly moved out. We found a number of issues: (1) Communication: the apartments are poorly managed. We never got the access code to enter the apartment building and didn't even know which room we were staying in after we had booked online. There is no receptionist on duty on weekends. We had to proactively call the number on the website, which no one answered. Then we called an emergency number, and finally found someone who gave us the correct information. This was very inconvenient. (2) The Building: the apartments are located inside a very old building, which is mainly residential. The apartments themselves are on the "second floor" - which by North American standards feels more like the 4th floor. When we arrived the elevator was not working. And we had to drag our luggage all the way up, with no help (again, no receptionists working on the weekend). (3) The Apartments: There were a number of issues with the actual apartment. There was a weird sewage smell that came from the washroom, and we had to close the washroom door all throughout the week. The Wifi was absolutely terrible. It made Zoom calls and even browsing the Internet difficult. The hot water turns cold after about 5 to 10 minutes of use, and it was often difficult for two people to take showers consecutively. Overall, very poor experience with these apartments. I would give it 1 out of 5.

The staff is always willing to help and solve all possible issues during your stay, and we make our best to give the clients the nicest experience possible. This is why when Reception is closed, we provide a 24 hour phone available in case you need something ,anytime. We have recently renewed our elevator, and now it is bigger and more accesible. The elevator is working from next day of your stay, this is why yo had to use the stairs, unfortunately. We had in touch with you during your stay, but we would have appreciated being informed about all these inconveniences you had( wifi, smell...) and we would happily gave you a solution, unfortunately now is late.Even we offered you a free weekly cleaning service and never got an answer from you. We have a wifi router in the appartment, behind the TV which has a stronger signal. However, we hope you can come back soon to Barcelona and restore your faith in us. Perfect location and well suited for families
This hotel is very conveniently located at the beginning of Las Ramblas and is well suited for families. We stayed here about a week and everything we were hoping was exceeded (service, comfort, clean, secure). The only one thing we notice is WiFi is bad around 8pm usually when the other guests are using it. The apartments also count with a special storage room if you arrive earlier. The sofa bed was convenient enough that it had a double mattress for a second guest. The Kitchen and appliances (washing and drying machines) were in excellent condition. They even have well drafted instructions on how to use them. Will definitely stay here again and recommend this property any time.

BEWARE OF HIDDEN CLEANING FEE...AVOID IF YOU CAN
AVOID THIS PLACE IF YOU CAN. Though the location is ok the place is like dungeon. VERY NOISY...sleeping at night will be very challenging. Most deceiving thing is that they have a cleaning fee of 50 euros which they said if we use kitchen then we have to clean including garbage. We agreed as we didn't plan to use it and were hardly stayed in during the day. We got charged still saying that we didn't do our homework. I told them it is not correct. But they didn't respond and failed to provide any proof.

Location of this property was perfect!! I made a mistake by booking an apartment and really wanted a hotel. I did it for the space but didn’t like the feel of the apartment . The manager ariadna was awesome, didn’t realize I had to pay extra for towels but she accommodate us everyday with clean towels. I wasn’t a big fan of the place but the manager made up for the customer service .

Stayed for 5 nights with husband. Other family members were in an apartment on the same floor (we asked and they were able to comply). Loved the apartment (2D). It was very spacious, clean and comfortable. 2D is on the corner and has an incredible view down the street. Excellent communication by email and in person with staff. Great location (see other reviews). Will definitely stay there again if return to Barcelona!

The apartment was roomy and perfect for a 5 night stay. Convenient to the metro, taxis and walking to interesting places, markets and restaurants. The street outside was busy but the noise wasn't a bother on the second floor. There were protesters camped out in a square nearby but it didn't affect out plans at all. We had relatives staying in another apartment on the same floor, so it was great for families. I would definitely stay there again!

We hated our stay. Elevator broken most of Sunday with no staff present. Had to climb 3flights. Only 1roll of toilets paper. No tissues. Pictures of suites deceiving. Could not wait for our 3 day stay to end. Couple we were with in another suite agreed with us.
