The exterior of the house, to be frank, is a dump. You'll think you've rented a lemon. But the inside is absolutely gorgeous! Exactly as pictured. Tasteful and clever modern decor and many hi-tech features (i.e. lots of stuff from IKEA and Google Home.) The cupboards are stocked with every facility you could imagine, and a few you couldn't (I'm not sure why one would need 10 sets of chopsticks, but they're there if you need them.) In-suite laundry is always a big plus for longer stays. The beds are very comfortable. And the place is so spacious, especially for the price.The property is near the town's historic district, full of all sorts of quaint shops including, right next door, the Old Tin Shed, a wonderland of old and new crafts, decor and oddities.The hosts were very responsive and prompt in helping us with any minor issues that popped up. If you find yourself in Bancroft for some reason (for us, we were attending its excellent regional theatre), this is your top choice for accommodation.
