Very secluded and not overlooked or overlooking neighbours, although the other cabin was close enough to share with other friends or family. There are lots to do in the area with lovely walks, both challenging and easy along the river Dee. The property was spotless with everything you would need. I would recommend this for anyone wanting a wee break. We took the dog and he loved it. ##### Campbell M. The lodge was spotless and a great base to visit our family across Aberdeenshire. Lots of birds and we even spotted a dear out of the window too. One word of warning, our satnav took us across the Cairn O Mount to get there. This is a very twisty, high mountain road. It would be a beautiful drive if this is your thing, but we found it a bit too much for us in our van so we had to turn around and came via Stonehaven instead. Not a problem at all, just worth knowing if you don't have a head for heights or are travelling in the winter .
