"Nothing special about this place. Beds were comfortable. Hallways and doors from other rooms are noisy. Green ceiling light stayed on all night. Kitchen facilities were good but their breakfast offering were very simple."

"This is a very special cabin perched above the lough but with very easy assess to the Newtownards and the surrounding area. Very cosy with quality deco and furnishings it’s perfect for a couple. We visited when the eye of Storm Kathleen was overhead creating memorable moments, but limiting the planned walks. Lovely to have smart TVs, games and books as sadly just too windy for a BBQ on the terrace."

"Couldn’t warm up the pod enough to make it comfortable for the night and the privacy glass does not provide complete privacy even when the directions for it to work were followed. "

"A truly wonderful find! Quiet, convenient, clean well appointed cottage, with attentive, friendly hosts. Good parking, near enough (by car) to the Mourne Mountains, Murlough, Tyrella and Ballykinler beaches and Newcastle. About a 45 min drive from Belfast. A great haven for peaceful outdoor pursuits or just getting away from it all. Will happily stay again! "

"This was absolutely adorable! The grounds were so beautiful and it was SO peaceful and quiet. It could use a good heavy and deep clean throughout the cottage though. The bed was a bit stiff and the pillows were a tad flat and could be replaced. The small kitchen came in handy and we’re thankful they had a laundry room. Michael was so friendly and welcoming.
