"Unfortunately it took a while to understand how the heat for the showers worked. Also towels were only replaced once during the week and we had to wash our own towels at the laundry facilities. "

"It was a beautiful setting it had fantastic potential but here’s a list of the faults. Self check in system (room door unlocked key in room) another guest had checked into room we had booked. The room had a different number on the door to what it was (there was a number one on the door frame number 2 on the door) We had booked a ensuite bathroom but on the first night only had access to a shared bathroom with no hot water, no toilet paper (had to search the house to find it), blocked sink. Sheraton Athlone Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"We arrived late at night but check in went well and we were able to arrange for a later check out. I had a massage at the spa which was amazing! Our kids loved the pool, with the fountains. It was disappointing that they did not allow children in the hot tub, at 12 and 15 it seems odd to us that they were not allowed in. The breakfast offered a lot of choice and great quality. "

"This castle is absolutely beautiful. It was a dream to stay in a castle in Ireland and this stay was the highlight of our trip. Our 3 daughters each had their own rooms in the tower and they loved it! We will definitely be back!"
