From here you can enjoy the fantastic view of the surrounding area and of the sunset. Of course you're welcome to use the barbecue. From here you can easily explore the Harz with a variety of attractions. You will find a romantic forest lake for swimming just 400m away. Castles and fortresses are located in the immediate vicinity. Tourist attractions such as Quedlinburg or the Hexentanzplatz (Witches' Dance Floor) in Thale as well as the idyllic Bode Gorge can be reached quickly. Other excursion destinations include: Bismarck tower, Falkenstein Castle, Anhalt Castle ruins, Harz narrow-gauge railway, the Brocken.
