We really enjoyed our stay at Heritage on Lydiard. I enquired a few days prior about charging an EV and when I arrived I found that staff had reserved a car park for me next to the power outlet. Thanks! Great proximity to a row of Ballarat's great pubs, bars and restaurants too. I love the way the pool/spa has been incorporated into the building - such a shame it was inoperable. Still very happy to recommend though.

Easter stay in Ballarat

Had a lovely stay at Heritage on Lydiard. Our room was at the back so very quiet, with secure off street parking. Very clean, spacious room. The only thing I would complain about, there was no soap holder in the shower, and there were blankets on the bed, which were quite heavy. Otherwise the bed was very comfortable and there were spare blankets and pillows in the cupboard. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel is in an excellent location for shopping and dining. Car parking is a little complicated but we got used to where the laneway was that we were supposed to turn into. I am not sure if there is enough parking for all rooms in the hotel, however, we managed to get a spot each time we returned, even though one time it was the last one left! The room we were in was facing Lydiard Street, which was a bit noisy over the weekend nights, but that is to be expected. Staff were friendly. The room was nice, clean and had a good shower!

Very central, clean and quiet. Would improve the check in/car parking process by providing an explanation of how it all works prior to arrival......maybe I missed it !! Staff very welcoming and friendly, excellent breakfast at the "pub".
