You get a beautiful view from almost all locations. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. I didn't eat at all of the restaurants but the pizza at Il Forno was good. As were the drinks! I would have liked to see a few Mexican options on the menu, but, I could have ventured around the property to a different restaurant if it was really an issue. It was low season, but they seemed fully staffed and everything was open. The only comment I have is that I waited over an hour for help with my luggage on check out, despite making several calls. I had given myself plenty of time for the airport, but that could have been an issue for someone on a tighter schedule.

Overall, the resort was great! We had a wonderful time and really enjoyed our experience. The staff were great, especially the golf cart drivers and Gabriele, the front desk staff member who assisted us during check-in. She was very nice, accommodating, warm, friendly, and welcoming. I truly wish every guest could receive that same kind of treatment from everyone working at the front desk because she really made a great first impression. The all-inclusive package was also great. Fine dining is optional and completely your choice, but there is an additional cover charge. There were seven of us, so whenever we chose to have dinner at one of the fine dining restaurants, we ended up paying almost $400 per dinner, plus tip. We knew it was optional, so that wasn't really an issue for us. The only negative experience we had was with what appeared to be VIP guests or guests who were recognized by the staff. Whenever these guests arrived, it seemed like the attention of the servers immediately shifted toward them, and unfortunately, the other guests were sometimes forgotten. I completely understand providing excellent service to VIP guests, but I also feel that every paying guest should continue to receive the same level of attention and service. No guest should feel forgotten simply because another guest may be considered a VIP.
