It was a cute little bedroom, and the shared space was cute as well. We weren't sure if we were supposed to use the kitchen, so we didn't. It was a little inconvenient and awkward sharing a bathroom, but it worked out okay. The bed wasn't super comfortable, but we slept pretty well. I didn't realize there wasn't any housekeeping service. We were only given 2 bath towels, 2 hand towels, and 2 washcloths. We did not get the room we booked, gym was crowded, pool situation sucked. People go down and put towels on chairs at 7am and then show up around 12-1pm. There are signs that say you can’t leave your stuff unattended for more than 30 min but that’s not enforced. There was construction going on that was loud and annoying while at the pool. Food was ok. Overall just ok. Would not recommend and would not go back. I was very disappointed in our check in process. We checked in early which the resort was extremely accommodating of. It was not busy at the check in counter, and staff seemed more interested in talking with each other than welcoming the 2 parties ( 1 of which was us) into the resort. It was very brief with very limited explanation of amenities. Our last evening there, I asked a front desk staff member about renting a taxi to take us to the marina. We were told they could NOT pick us up in front of the resort, we would need to walk down to the main road. I didn't feel like doing that at 8:00 and then having to walk back late in the evening. However, when we were waiting for transportation back to the airport, there is a permanent stand that is staffed where they arrange for taxis to take you to local sites. I asked and he said they absolutely come to the front of the resort, that was his job. How frustrating to find this out the day of departure, especially when I specifically asked. Staff in the buffet were not friendly, and rarely came to our table to refill drinks, however, tips are expected. Again, resort facility was great.
