"We loved the grounds, so peaceful and lush. Huge variety of birds, howler monkeys in the distance each morning, incredibly kind, helpful and friendly staff. Delicious food, beverages and the best swimming pool ever!"

"We liked the hotel overall. The bedroom was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was limited but really good. The pool is perfect. Regarding the hotel’s location it’s both good and bad. Good because it’s easy to get to Uvita but bad because of the noise coming from the highway. "

"This hotel in Costa Rica is absolutely amazing! It’s filled with nature all around, making it the perfect peaceful getaway. "This property was incredibly beautiful. This hotel is more for couples and my husband and I enjoyed it. The food was amazing. Everyone on the staff went over and beyond to assist you with whatever you need. The atmosphere was great as well. The perfect get away to relax, reflect and restore. My husband and I would like to thank specifically Curtis,Emmanuel, Ivan, Alfonso, Noel and Francisco. Thank you!"

"The location of the property is beautiful, set back from the road and elevated for a great view of the Pacific. We particularly enjoyed the Happy Hour each day at 5:00 to enjoy the fabulous sunsets. The pool, the colorful plants, the toucans, tanagers, orapendulas and numerous other birds added so much to our visit. The staff was so accommodating and friendly. Our 5 days spent at Cristal Ballena were top notch!"
