Knowing only a few words of Spanish was of no hindrance to our stay at this perfectly located hotel in Badajoz. For instance, the reception staff helped us order taxis and transitioned seamlessly between Spanish and fluent English, for which we were most grateful. Having said that, all the staff were friendly, courteous and helpful, initiating polite salutations in both languages as they recognised our Spanish language limitations. I was staying overnight on a road trip to Portugal. The hotel was clean, modern rooms were fantastic great value for money. If you need a place to stay over I can't recommend enough would definitely use it again.

Excellent stay. First time myself and our toddler had a night away without mum. Beautiful location in Badajoz; staff were excellent, lady at reception couldn’t do enough for us and the lady at breakfast was very helpful indeed. Would use again or recommend to friends and family. Clean room. Nice very helpful staff

We stayed in this hotel for one night. It’s right in the heart of the wine region and we visited a vineyard before arriving for the night. Easy to park in the underground car park but there’s also plenty of parking on the street. Super easy check-in and offered drink as we arrived which was nice. The hotel has an indoor pool and some Thermo circuit spas which were great to relax in the afternoon and morning. Lovely breakfast with a good choice, including eggs Benedict. I am an international art dealer working all over the world with Galleries in London and Paris. La Parra is exceptional the quality of the hotel is that of a five star hotel without the price tag. The food alone is worth the journey to get there as it is positively amazing. It is run by an all female staff who make one feel that one is staying with friends. We will go again for linger next year.

The hotel is in an excellent position, parking is easy and access to the city is a few minutes on foot. It is a beautiful property, lovely places to sit inside and out. Our historic room was very clear, large and well presented. I will definitely look forward to staying here again

Quiet hotel lovely views nice restaurant nice little town very tidy. You hear the cow bells and watch the cows from the balcony on upper floors.

Excellent stay would stay again

We stayed here with 2 young children, all the staff were lovely. The room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was a good selection. And its well located with a big supermarket near by, as well as bars and restaurants. It was a short walk from the hotel to the nearby roman Bridge and other sites. I would stay here again.

Looking for somewhere to stay as I travelled from the Santander ferry to the Algarve, I chose this hotel as it was relatively close to the motorway. I arrived just after 22:00; too late for food but my key was waiting for me. Plenty of parking. A good nights sleep, a refreshing shower and breakfast included. My journey resumed and I may return next year.
